Julius Lightfeather
Currently resides in Fane, though he wants to travel.
Julius Lightfeather is one of the last heirs of the Lightfeathers. He was horrifically killed by Bramak Blackhand during Petyr Godfrey‘s massacre of Fane. This has caused Julius to be cautious, understandably so, of Bramak despite also taking refuge in the burnt-out remains of the library. The Goons first met him in the library, where he was perched on the toppled and charred remains of a bookshelf feeding birds - which seem to be one of the few living things that don’t run from him. Treldaan Freep has really taken a shine to the boy, at least more so than the others, and has made promises to take him on adventures when The Goons leave Fane - though it is unclear if they will realistically be able to accomplish this given the worlds general disdain for the undead.
When he was alive, Julius lived in relative luxury - having come from a wealthy family. He received private lessons from tutors, dreamed of one day going on adventures outside of Fane, and loved to garden. Ultimately he left what remained of his family’s manor due to it being little more than ash, and because it reminded him too much of his death. While he hasn’t been able to keep much of anything from his past life - since status for the most part went away once everyone was undead - he has kept a semblance of a small garden in a dirty ally. It gives him a semblance of the familiar and is also the location where Melinoe Expspiravit, in disguise as an old undead woman, convinced him to talk to Bramak and begin their healing process.
