Question is a Githyanki mage who trained as an Initiate in the Claret Order of the Cobalt Soul at the same time as Ezekiel and was promoted to Librarian with him. She worked in the Order as a librarian for about a year before she left the Rexxentrum Stacks. While she didn’t exactly keep up with Ezekiel after leaving, she did hear that he was promoted to Inquisitor by a Provost, Sandrius Anguin. Rumor has it that Ezekiel’s promotion was because of the research and collation he was doing in the Stacks at Rexxentrum, which was privatized into Sandrius’ collection after Ezekiel’s promotion. It’s fairly common that Provost’s engage in their own wide ranging research projects and bring inquisitor’s in to do the footwork for them. The latest rumors Question’s heard say Sandrius is one of the main drivers of the Assembly’s exploration of the Kryn Dynasty and their magic.

Currently, Question spends her time in Marquet, leaving the library after discovering the beauty and magical energy on the desert continent, though part of her decision to leave also came from the Order’s ambivalence about the growing war. She is now working with the Telfan Expedition Company to uncover relics of the Calamity. They’re looking for an ancient, sunken city right now, which is said to be the site of a massive battle between a prime and betrayer god.

However, she will always answer Benedict’s call after working with him on his last Sabbatical, when he took a group of Librarians to map the Frigid Depths between the Empire and Eiselcross. He saved her life on numerous occasions on that trip and started her education in magic casting. He called her so she could provide direct access to the Stacks via teleportation.

Question helped save the party’s skin from the rooftop ambush in Rexxentrum and then sat with them in their surprise meeting with Sandrius . She is an ally, but her own Empire sympathy’s could prove to be a problem.
