Most recently, in Trostenwald, the patron appeared before her, shaped out of water, and encouraged her to assist Della in accessing her powers, claiming that Della’s power is crucial to Amira’s goals but to not let Amira’s feelings and friendship get in the way of seeking her goals. “She”, the patron said to Amira. “is gathering her own power. She is focused, she is succeeding, and you, Amira, are not focused. Remember your goals.”
