Three of them have been stolen in the last several years. These artifacts work as a conduit for rebirth, allowing souls of Dynasty members to be reincarnated for generations to come. The power of the Beacons was devised pre-Calamity by a Drow named Fids McQuarkle but drove him insane, resulting in losing the exact magic being lost to the ages. Farely works with a small team to try and devise the magic to create more.

Farely hypothesizes that Cassie and Stone were merged due to a broken Beacon in their vicinity and that if he could see the Beacon Ezekiel was looking for in Nicodranas, he might be able to learn more about their condition and help them solve it. General Mandulla agrees and asks you to search for this missing beacon, secure it, and return it to the Dynasty. The last place Ezekiel reported from, according to Sandrius, was in Nicodranas.
