Kryn Dynasty

The Kryn Dynasty is a large population of primarily Drow that have resided in secret for many years. Though their dynasty itself only recently revealed in the last century, by their leader, Sandranna Eloquet, the Bright Queen, it has become known that many of their dynasty members have immigrated into the world and have been living in the Empire, Menagerie Coast, and beyond, for many years; possibly generations. It is unknown what binds the dynasty members together but those who have been questioned have revealed an unwavering and undying loyalty, in under the threat and reality of death.

Interestingly, studies by the Cerberus Assembly have revealed that members of the Kryn Dynasty cannot be resurrected; Archmage Kellet Intathon believes that perhaps this magic contributes to their sense of loyalty and binds them together, even after death. This hint of magic has fueled a frenzy within the Cerberus Assembly, curious to discover more of the Kryn Dynasty’s culture and history as we welcome these newly revealed neighbors to our world.

However, attempts to parley or begin a friendship have been rebuffed by the Bright Queen, leading to tensions from those who are returned under the influence of some unknown dark magic. The Righteous Brand has gathered together to prepare for the most dangerous possibility: perhaps the Dynasty is not revealed with the intent to assimilate… but to dominate. We must hold firm and stay alert. The Kryn are known to have skilled foot soldiers, aided by this strange magic to move quickly and silently, though their armor is of a chitinous make, which emits a loud clicking buzz when they come upon you. This noise has inspired outsiders to call the Kryn “cricks,” referring to this cricket-like din
