Telfan's Dig

Aloysia Telfan has begun to investigate a site in Marquet, excavating a large swath of the desert that Cobalt Soul historians believe used to be a rainforest before the destruction of the Calamity. She has discovered a strange new material: an iron strong root, a rock, almost but not quite petrified. Wholly unique and hard to define, this is a large gnarled root of stone of the darkest blue that catches the light above and reveals a spiderweb of white and purple veins just under the surface.

She believes this is debris from the floating city of Avalor, the shining gem of the Age of Arcanum and has spoken about rebuilding the city, if they can find more. There were more found in the Quoraska Jungles, smaller but more connectable pieces like this one. Now, she’s expanding the research and the dig to try and find more and discover the impact of this material on their time.
