Yensari's Crew

Legend tells of an ancient captain, Idris Yensari, one of the great pirates of legend who rallied fleets of ships under his command. Stories say his sword controlled the waves and put the men of his fleets under command of his every whim. This sword was so powerful, when men died in service to Yensari, their souls remained bound to him, granting him a legion of ghosts to strom merchants at sea and cities of the coast. For years, Yensari ruled the seas. Now, pirates and sailors deep in their cups tell the legend and talk about what they would do with a sword that controlled the tides and bound the souls of men….if anyone could find it.

The legends remained tales by the fire until 834, when ghosts began to appear over recent shipwrecks, bound to this plane, waiting for their master to return and claim them.
