A two-level city built around the starfire crystal, an enormous red astral crystal shaft that fell to the ground long ago. The crystal pillar serves as the central column supporting the Uptown disk. Like a saucer dish atop the crystal’s upper end, and supported by secondary pillars built by dwarves long ago, the two-mile wide disk of Uptown Canus provides upscale living for the elite. Below the disk, Downtown Canus sprawls across the earth in the shadow of Uptown’s disk.
