Orthvagmer is a Vistani who left Barovia to kill Thurren when the The Phandalin Council were there trying to kill Strahd. He changed his mind and then wanted to change his life around and become one of the good guys. He is the one who pointed us towards finding Derwood Windham in the Dwarfs elbow. He’s trying to show the Council that he’s a good guy so they will let him stay in the village rather than staying in a caravan on the outskirts.
