Edryn, home of the Golden Capital of Candorim, is a land shaped more by memory than certainty. Kingdoms have risen and fallen across its history, yet Candorim endures as the everlasting seat of power over the lands. Most people concern themselves with harvests, trade, and local disputes rather than scholarly truths, and so history has faded into shared stories.
This campaign begins in the Clerion Vale, within the Greenwood Triad, in the lumber town of Harrowgate. The surrounding forest and river sustain its trade, which flows east toward Akrion Hold, the nearest seat of authority. Though life here is quiet and practical, unease has begun to settle over the Vale. Travelers have gone missing along familiar roads, creatures stir where they once did not, and the Order of Golden Light has tightened its presence with iron grip upon the vale. Rumors of a spreading sickness circulate in hushed tones, and few agree on where the truth ends and fear begins.
