Adventuring Company
THIS INDENTURE
shall Compell and bynd all members of its Company, who are hereinafter to be known as The Devils’ Due, to keep its lawfull commands and trespass not on the property which has been properly assigned thereto. The signatories hath put themselves, voluntarily and of their own free Will and Accord, under the laws of the Profectine Republic, which governs all Commercial trade in the region of Galta, which stands head-and-shoulders above the old and decadent Nations of the White Stone Sea, ARMORIA, and according to the same laws promulgated by the Sovereign Court of the Padishar Trading Company, to include but not discount, the presence of any and all notables in this, the SMOKING PORT, upon the witnessing of this compact.
WITNESSETH that, upon the receipt of any payment, this Company shall divide twentie per-centum of that payment and sequester it into a special Fund, the administration of which shall be the responsibility of two Officers who shall be made Quartermasters upon the vote of the whole.
That all treasures shall be shared equally between Members of the Company who make attempts to meaningfully contribute to the advancement of any given Adventure, Job, Quest, or Undertaking.
That all monies which become owing as a result of Company actions shall be paid by the Company Fund.
That all Members shall be entitled to vote upon the acceptance of Contracts of Work, and that those who object to the duly voted-upon and authorized Contract shall be entitled to exclude themselves from the Labours at the expense of their share of Treasure.
That all Hirelings, Henchmans, Toadies, or others who accompany the Company but who are not accredited as its Members by Acclaim, shall be entitled to a Wage but no share; the Company Members may, by unanimous vote, award a Full Share to such Hirelings, Henchmans, or Toadies.
Individual gains which are no part of any Company Contract shall not be subject to Company control.
