The Phantom Sea Arc
#001 The Phantom Sea: Captain Scarlette Jane recruits a diverse crew in Tortuga and sets sail aboard the Night Wind through the supernatural Phantom Sea on a dangerous mission to steal the artifact “Calypso’s Heart” from the goddess Circe’s temple, facing ship damage and psychological effects that drive crew members to attempted sabotage during the treacherous voyage.
#002 The Phantom Sea, pt 2: During Days 4-5 of their Phantom Sea voyage (April 24-25, 1690), the Night Wind crew negotiated safe passage with an ancient telepathic sea serpent, survived psychological warfare from ghostly apparitions of deceased loved ones emerging from floating coffins, and fought off a coordinated assault by four aboleth creatures.
#003 Circe’s Island: The Night Wind crew survived a supernatural storm and divine encounters in the Phantom Sea to reach Circe’s Island, where they began navigating the temple’s deadly challenges and entered the Hall of Mirrors equipped with protective ruby coins.
#004 Circe’s Island, pt 2: The party navigated the psychological horrors of Circe’s Hall of Mirrors where each member faced hostile reflections of their deepest fears and failures, nearly lost Chester to necrotic damage before Alethea’s heroic rescue, discovered that their trusted first mate Percy was actually the god Poseidon in disguise, witnessed a violent magical confrontation between Scarlette and Poseidon in Circe’s throne room, accepted the goddess’s labyrinth trial to retrieve Poseidon’s stolen eye, and split into three teams to tackle separate locked doors while avoiding the deadly Minotaur guardian prowling the maze.
#005 The Labyrinth: The party split into three teams to navigate Cersei’s deadly labyrinth, securing two of four magical obelisks needed to escape while being hunted by an ancient Minotaur, ultimately sacrificing two magical companions (Hermes and Grimsby) but successfully evading the beast through tactical spellcasting and regrouping to continue their search.
#006 The Labyrinth, pt 2: The party successfully navigated Circe’s deadly labyrinth to retrieve Poseidon’s Eye and restore the god’s power, but when Scarlette forced him to break Corliss’s unwanted warlock pact by threatening the artifact, she earned Poseidon’s eternal enmity and lost her own divine patronage, transforming a completed mission into a pyrrhic victory that revealed her true identity as the Blood Pirate and left the crew sailing toward Cyprus with massive wealth, restored crewmates, and a god as their enemy.
