-THE YEAR IS 2418-

The climate crisis has become a relic of the past, with global temperatures stabilizing and humans coexisting harmoniously with the planet. Technological advancements have evolved in tandem with nature, allowing renewable energy sources to replace oil and coal. Inhabitants now reside in verdant cities, where towering structures of synthesized steel and titanium are adorned with magnificent gardens on their facades. The large power plants and coal mines have become overgrown forgotten ruins far-out from any civilization. Urban spread is all but forgotten, farms packed closely against the city to allow for better transportation of food and water in then out of the large cities.

As technology advanced, the creation of androids became a common place in the world. They got advanced, and quick. Now, droids are found everywhere and some of them look just like humans- act just like humans. All that tells them apart are the marks on their hands, a bar like chip that glows a bright blue. Cyborgs are common now too- disabled people quickly being healed with robotic parts. They are the bottom of society. Droids are seen as less than human- mere objects for people to own and use for their own gain. Cyborgs are just above them, barely human enough to be treated as such. It is this people, the droids and cyborgs, the impoverished and small, that live at the bottom of cities at the ground, in the ruins of what used to be.

Now the bottom city is full of droids who’ve escaped their owners and cyborgs who never had the money to live in the upper city, that find lives at the bottom picking at the leftovers of the people who still live at the top. The lower city is dark and overcrowded with moss and fungus and low-lying animals. Some people here leave the city to work for the farmers on the outskirts, some do their best to make the lower city a better place for all the people who live there and some, some become criminals just to make their way.

-All transphobia, homophobia, racism, ableism, and other forms of bigotry known today have been eradicated-

-Bigotry is now put on droids and cyborgs for being ‘less than human’-

-Most droids are owned by a human, but there are some who walk free-

-Humans and droids are outlawed from having any romantic relationships-

-There is still… criminals, mafia like organizations, drug circles, etc.-

-The roleplay will be lore heavy with events that effect every character-

-A good portion of this roleplay is heavily based on The Prince of Southland which is a fantastic webtoon that I heavily recommend reading, but it is not needed! -
